Blackjack betting system is used to manage your finances in order to maximize your profits. Unless you effectively deal with your bet no technique or method can win you money - that’s why managing your money properly is so important.

There are linear, additive and multiplicative blackjack betting systems. Most widely used is the Martingale system. This system originates from France and now it is 200 years old. Using this blackjack betting system you are required to double your bet each time you lose, considering that you will eventually win and show a profit from the initial wager. However, casinos have set table limits - it means that after a long losing streak you will reach the table maximum limit and you woould have to quit the game or start anew. And, of course, to make this system really work you need significant bankroll.

The Progressive Betting System is the most effective and the simplest betting system. While using this system player determines his maximum and minimum bet and then bets the larger amount after a win and the smaller amount after a loss. But, there is a situation in which this blackjack system fails and - it happens when you experience a win, loss, win, loss type of scenario. The only advice in this situation is to bet an equal amount on each hand.

D’Alembert blackjack betting system is a simple linear system which is named after Jean le Rond D’Alembert who was an eighteenth-century theroist. Use of this system suggests raising your bet by a fixed amount if you lose and lower it by a fixed amount if you win.

There is also the Anti-Martingale blackjack betting system which requires you to double your bets after a win instead of a loss (this is a reverse of the Martingale system). This system suggests small probability of a big win and a high probability of a small loss, as when you lose a bet you have wiped out your wins plus one unit.

There are other blackjack betting systems, but none of them can guarantee posistive results. So you should better rely on your intuition while placing big bets.
